It is very dangerous for a senior dog to carry and deliver puppies. She should not be in labor for 2 days, if you are not experienced and knowledgeable about delivery puppies you should bring her to a vet immediately.

If you are not experienced in delivering puppies it is always best to take her to the veterinarian. Complications with delivery can happen quickly and are very dangerous.

Yes this could mean she is ready to give birth. If you are unsure and haven't done this before it's always best to consult a veterinarian in case of complications.

Calling a vet office and explaining to me them over the phone can usually get you the best advice especially when dealing with a high risk situation like pregnancy and the birthing process.

My dog's been pregnant since December of 2011, this morning she was all playful and suddenly went under the house and then came out again and went straight to stay in her little home, could it be that she's ready?

My german shorthair Sadie is pass her due date. She is walking around and she is crying or whining alot. I think this is her time but I'm not sure? She'll it some food but not all of it. I cann't take her temp, because she will not stay still. Should I take her to the vet or wait it out.

My shihtzu is 63 days pregnant today. She has been hiding under the bed and shivering on and off. She has not eaten today and went outside earlier to use the bathroom. But now she is sleeping. How do I know what the true labor signs are? We have also taken her temp and it has been fluctuating between 98-99.
